My critter is called Flonty. which lives underground. It move up the concentration gradient of the chemical Name . Name the orientation in my animal and describe the adaptive value of the Flonty
Environmental Cue: chemicals Orientation: positive chemotaxis Adaptive Advantage: This response might be adaptive to get food for it to be able to survive.
I like your Flonty and it's tail - the tail must be one of the adaptations the Flonty has, to help it move up the chemical gradient. I agree with Rita's adaptive advantage of finding food so it can survive - organisms that can find and access a lot of nutrients will be healthy!
That drawing though! :)

Flonty's a cool name, Rachael. :) What's a concentration gradient? (I like learning too).
